The world of communication is changing, and everyone is trying to adapt to the new Internet Generation. Any message nowadays needs a creative way to get through to masses no matter how important it is. 2019 General Elections are around the corner, and everyone is trying to get the attention of people in their own way, be it to vote for their party or to vote in general.

Press Information Bureau, the mouthpiece of the government of India is setting a new trend to get the attention of the voters especially the first-time voters. PIB is redefining the mundane and dull Government communication style by being creative and connecting to the masses in the language they understand best – “The Language of Memes”.

“Jaa Simran Jaa je le apni Zindagi” The famous dialogue of the movie “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” was revamped to “Jaa Simran Jaa he is a responsible citizen”. Tweet reads “Every Election Is Determined By The Voters Who Turn Up”

It’s not just Twitter where PIB is making moves, Instagram was next to get startled with a creative masterpiece from the agency.

“Beta Tumse Na HoPayega” The famous dialogue of the movie “Gangs of wasseypur 2” was reinvented to “Beta tumse Ho jayega”.

Election Commission of India and other government agency are surely trying to be as creative as possible, in their efforts to connect to the masses in a better way, but PIB is winning the battles with some creative out of the box thinking and some punchy “Mames”

We hope this effort by PIB gets the appreciation it should receive and hit the youth of the nation at the right pressure points.

Voting is the most important right of democracy and we all should respect and use it, coz It Matters!!
